About Sam
Sam Lathrum studied and developed leadership skills in the nation’s greatest leadership incubator: The U.S. Army. He graduated from college and was commissioned as an Army Second Lieutenant. He worked in missile maintenance and project management during eight years on active duty.
Sam spent 17 years working in municipal government with the City of Houston and Houston Public Works. He managed the City’s equipment acquisition budget for four years. He supervised financial analysts who prepared portions of the City’s Consolidated Annual Financial Reports.
